My approach is to combine my creative talent in art and graphic design with technical proficiency in architecture and planning to deliver innovative and attractive project solutions. My concern for beauty in the built environment extends from the smallest material detail to the functional connectivity of the site to its larger regional context.

My understanding and passion for sustainability is grounded in a deep appreciation for the natural environment and the imperative to preserve natural systems and open space by making the built environment more livable and resource-efficient.

With professional experience managing a design build company in the mountains of Colorado, I have practical, hands-on experience working with building officals and planning commissions, banks and investors, and contractors and construction crews. Although self-motivated and detail-oriented, I have a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. With constant attention to time and budget constraints, I remain accountable and results-oriented on projects large and small.

Foreign travel and study abroad has shaped my perception and understanding of good urban form and successful placemaking. I have participated in formal educational programs in Finland and Turkey, and continue to experience diverse urban environments through observation, interaction, sketching, and photography.

My digital design skills include proficiency in graphic design applications such as Adobe Creative Suite 4, and architecture-specific applications including Autodesk Revit Architecture 2010, Vectorworks 2010, and SketchUp.
